Could a simple blood test predict future heart trouble for transplant patients?
NCT ID NCT05756088
Summary
This study aimed to see if a blood test could detect and predict future blockages in the small blood vessels of the heart in people who have had a heart transplant. It planned to enroll 88 adults who were at least 3 years past their transplant to compare blood test results with standard heart scan images over time. The goal was to gather knowledge to help doctors monitor transplant health, not to test a new treatment.
