Yale launches major Women's heart health study to improve treatment decisions
NCT ID NCT04599192
Summary
This study aims to gather information about how well two different heart artery tests (FFR and iFR) predict future heart problems in women with chest pain. Researchers will follow 500 women for 5 years to see which test results better match findings from stress imaging tests. The goal is to improve treatment recommendations for women with partially blocked heart arteries.
