Heart Surgery's hidden risk: could blood flow clues predict brain fog?

NCT ID NCT07483151

Summary

This study aims to understand if blood flow problems during heart surgery are linked to memory and thinking issues that can occur afterward. Researchers will observe 110 adults having planned heart surgery, checking their blood flow during the operation and their mental sharpness before and after. The goal is to gather information to help predict and possibly prevent these cognitive problems in future patients.
