Summary
This study looked at whether certain medications for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder increase the risk of heart disease. Researchers measured cholesterol levels and heart activity in 48 participants already taking these medications. They then tested whether changing medications or adding diet and exercise counseling could reduce these heart risks.
