Massive 3-Million person study reveals how your location and gender affect heart attack risk
NCT ID NCT05466825
Summary
This international research project analyzes health data from millions of people worldwide to understand how common risk factors like high blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking, and diabetes affect heart disease and death rates differently across regions and between men and women. The study doesn't test treatments but uses existing health records to identify patterns that could help create better prevention strategies tailored to specific populations. Researchers are examining data from 133 different health studies across 40 countries to build a clearer picture of global heart health.
