Summary
This study aims to understand why people with type 1 diabetes have a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. Researchers will compare how the bodies of 30 adults with and without type 1 diabetes process certain fats and proteins in the blood. The goal is to gather knowledge about the underlying mechanisms, not to test a treatment.
