ECMO Patients' heart rhythms under the microscope

Summary
This study tracks 600 adults on a heart-lung machine (VA ECMO) for severe shock to see how often they develop heart rhythm disorders like atrial fibrillation. Researchers will monitor these patients in the ICU to measure the impact on recovery time and survival. The goal is to gather data that could improve future care for this critically ill group.
