Researchers gather data to improve heart pump monitoring
NCT ID NCT06308055
Summary
This study aims to collect real-time data from heart pumps (Impella devices) used in patients with cardiogenic shock, a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly can't pump enough blood. Researchers will gather information from 125 patients to develop better algorithms for monitoring heart function. The goal is to create less invasive ways to track how well the heart is working during critical care.
