Simple timing change could prevent artery blockage after common heart procedure

Summary
This study aims to see if giving a blood-thinning medication (heparin) *before* inserting a tube into the wrist artery for a heart procedure is better at preventing that artery from getting blocked afterward. It will compare this 'early' injection to the standard practice of giving the medication *after* the tube is in place. About 550 adults undergoing this type of heart procedure will participate to see which timing leads to fewer artery blockages and complications.
