New pacing method may offer heart failure patients a better option

NCT ID NCT06241651

First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026

Summary

This study looks at two different ways to pace the heart in people with heart failure who already have a pacemaker and need an upgrade. The goal is to see if a newer method, called conduction system pacing, works as well as the standard method, biventricular pacing. About 66 adults will take part, and the main measure is how much the heart's pumping ability improves after six months.
