Sticky patch could spot deadly drug side effects on the heart

NCT ID NCT04336644

Summary

This study is testing a wearable, stick-on heart monitor to see if it works as well as standard hospital heart tests (ECGs) for spotting dangerous heart rhythm problems. It will be used on 60 adult cancer patients taking specific drugs known to sometimes cause these heart issues. The goal is to validate if this continuous, at-home monitoring is a reliable way to track heart safety.
