Summary

This study looks at whether a program called Heart Matters can help Black adults in rural eastern North Carolina lower their blood pressure. About 173 people with heart disease risk factors like high blood pressure or obesity will take part. Community leaders will run the program, and researchers will compare their results to similar people who did not join.
