NCT ID NCT07016022

First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a quick test of heart and breathing patterns before major chest surgery can help predict which patients will have complications afterward. Researchers will enroll 130 adults undergoing surgery for lung, esophageal, or stomach cancer. The goal is to see if this test is feasible and better than current methods at identifying high-risk patients.
