Summary
This study aimed to understand how a heart failure drug called Entresto (ARNI/LCZ 696) affects the heart and kidneys when the body handles extra fluid. It involved 72 people with type 2 diabetes, some with and some without early signs of heart stiffness. Researchers measured detailed body responses to a saline (salt water) infusion after participants took either the drug or a placebo.
