Community health workers aim to tackle heart disease risk in vulnerable population
NCT ID NCT07298213
Summary
This study is testing whether a program led by community health workers can help Mexican-origin adults with fatty liver disease (MASLD) understand their heart disease risk and make healthy lifestyle changes. The program focuses on diet, exercise, sleep, and other factors that affect heart health. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical and acceptable for this community in Southern Arizona.
