First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how leg artery disease (LEAD) might affect the heart's pumping ability. Researchers will use ultrasound imaging to measure heart function in 162 participants with and without LEAD. The goal is to find connections between heart strain, metabolism, and organ damage, which could improve early detection of heart failure.
