Doctors probe Heart's role in waking up from surgery
NCT ID NCT04619225
Summary
This study aimed to understand if the strength of a patient's heart pumping (cardiac output) affects how quickly they recover from muscle-relaxing drugs given during surgery. Researchers planned to measure this in adults having elective surgery. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 7 participants.
