NCT ID NCT07634822
First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study will look at millions of Swedish surgery patients to understand how having heart failure impacts their risk of dying or having complications after an operation. Researchers will compare patients with and without heart failure, and also check if the type of surgery (day surgery vs. staying overnight) makes a difference. No new treatment is being tested—this is purely an observational study to gather knowledge.
