Mobile MRI vans hunt for silent heart failure in german cities

NCT ID NCT07185100

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study aims to find out how many people in large German cities have early, symptom-free heart failure. Researchers will use a mobile MRI scanner, along with blood tests and quality-of-life surveys, to screen 600 adults who have risk factors like diabetes, high blood pressure, or obesity. No treatment is given—the goal is simply to measure how common hidden heart failure is in urban areas.
