Vein pressure check may slash heart failure readmissions

NCT ID NCT07400042

First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving doctors daily readings of a vein's pressure can help people with congestive heart failure leave the hospital faster and avoid coming back. About 600 patients will be split into two groups: one where doctors see these pressure numbers and one where they don't. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive measurement improves recovery and reduces repeat hospital visits.
