One pill instead of four: new strategy aims to simplify heart failure treatment
NCT ID NCT06029712
Summary
This study tested if combining four common heart failure medications into a single daily pill helps patients take their medicine more consistently. Researchers worked with 35 adults who have a specific type of heart failure, including some who also have HIV. The goal was to see if this 'polypill' approach, which is already used for other conditions, makes it easier for patients to stick to their treatment plan compared to taking multiple separate pills.
