New pacing combo could boost heart function in failure patients

NCT ID NCT07526896

First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether adding extra pacing from a heart lead to an existing pacing method improves heart function in people with heart failure and a specific electrical problem (left bundle branch block). About 80 adults with weakened hearts will try two pacing approaches over 6 months each. The goal is to see which method better helps the heart pump blood and improves quality of life.
