New 3D scanner could keep heart failure patients out of hospital

Summary
This study tests a device called Heartfelt that uses 3D images to detect early signs of fluid buildup in the legs and feet of people with heart failure. The goal is to see if using this device along with standard care can improve quality of life and reduce hospital visits or death. About 300 adults with heart failure and leg swelling will take part in the UK.
