New chest sensor aims to keep heart failure patients out of the hospital

NCT ID NCT05650541

Summary

This study is testing whether a small, daily-use chest sensor can help people with chronic heart failure. The sensor monitors the body and alerts a care team to potential problems, with the goal of catching issues early to prevent hospital visits and reduce healthcare costs. About 1,200 participants will either use the sensor along with their normal care or receive only their normal care for comparison over six months.
