First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at how tiny blood vessels in the heart and body composition (muscle vs. fat) affect exercise ability in people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF. Researchers will measure blood flow and muscle mass in 100 adults aged 20-80 who have chest pain or shortness of breath but no major blockages in their heart arteries. The goal is to better understand what limits exercise capacity, which could guide future treatments.
