Could your heart pills make you fall? major safety data review
NCT ID NCT07150754
Summary
This study looked at global safety reports to see if medications used to treat heart failure are linked to an increased risk of falls in people aged 65 and older. Researchers analyzed over 100,000 reports from the World Health Organization's database to identify which specific drugs or drug classes might be associated with more falls. The goal was to gather safety information to better protect older patients who are already at higher risk for serious injuries from falling.
