First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study was designed to test an experimental drug called OPC-131461 in people hospitalized for worsening heart failure who still had signs of fluid buildup after initial treatment. The goal was to see if the drug could improve a key heart stress marker (NT-proBNP) over 30 days compared to a placebo. However, the trial was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
