Summary

This study compared three different intravenous heart medications (Levosimendan, Dobutamine, and Milrinone) in 60 critically ill patients. The patients had sudden, severe worsening of heart failure combined with reduced kidney function. Researchers measured which drug best improved heart and kidney performance, length of hospital stay, and survival.
