ICU trial tests which heart drug works best when kidneys are failing
NCT ID NCT07186062
Summary
This study compared three different heart-strengthening drugs (Levosimendan, Dobutamine, and Milrinone) in patients hospitalized with sudden worsening of heart failure who also had reduced kidney function. It aimed to see which drug was most effective at improving both heart and kidney performance. The researchers measured changes in heart and kidney tests, length of hospital stay, and survival rates.
