First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares a new, step-by-step plan for giving water pills (diuretics) based on urine salt levels to the usual care for people with acute heart failure in the emergency room. About 474 adults will take part to see if the new plan helps them feel better faster and reduces complications. The goal is to improve treatment without needing long-term changes.
