Major national trial aims to fix broken heart failure care system

NCT ID NCT07371780

Summary

This study is testing whether a new national hospital accreditation program can improve the quality of care for people hospitalized with heart failure. Over 6,000 patients from hospitals across China will participate, with some hospitals using the new standardized program and others providing usual care. Researchers will track patients for a year to see if the program leads to better management and fewer hospital readmissions or deaths.
