Can a Slower-Release pill ease the rush? heart failure study tests new bladder relief
NCT ID NCT06206512
Summary
This study tested if a new, extended-release version of a common water pill (torsemide) works better than the standard version to reduce urgent and frequent bathroom trips in people with chronic heart failure. 24 participants, all over 50 with both conditions, tried each pill for four weeks in a random order. Researchers compared how the pills affected daily life, bladder symptoms, and heart health markers over the eight-week study.
