Scientists search for blood clues to predict heart failure events
NCT ID NCT02632656
Summary
This study aims to understand if tiny RNA molecules found in the blood can serve as early warning signs for people with congestive heart failure. Researchers will follow 400 patients receiving standard heart failure treatment to see if changes in these RNA levels are linked to changes in heart structure or to serious health events like hospitalization or death. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better monitoring tools in the future.
