Scientists search for blood clues to predict heart failure outcomes

NCT ID NCT02632656

Summary

This study aims to understand if certain molecules in the blood can predict how a patient's heart changes and whether they will have serious health events. Researchers will follow 400 people with heart failure during their regular outpatient treatment. They will track blood markers and see how they relate to heart imaging results and health outcomes like hospital visits.
