First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study compares three common treatments for coronary artery disease—surgery, stents, and medication—to see how each affects kidney function over the long term. Researchers will track 1,700 patients for at least five years, measuring changes in kidney health and rates of new or worsening kidney disease. The goal is to help doctors choose the best treatment for patients with both heart and kidney risks.
