Diabetes heart risk under the microscope: 1,000 patients tracked

Summary

This study follows 1,000 people with type 2 diabetes who have already had a heart CT scan. Researchers will repeat the scan to see how fatty plaque in heart arteries changes over time. The goal is to better understand who is at highest risk for heart attacks and other problems.
