Doctors test which heart scan gives the best picture of clogged arteries
NCT ID NCT06205810
Summary
This study aims to see how accurately a non-invasive CT scan can measure the amount of plaque in heart arteries compared to a more detailed ultrasound done during a procedure. It will involve 250 people with stable coronary artery disease who are already scheduled for a standard heart artery checkup. The goal is to improve how doctors use scans to understand heart disease, not to test a new treatment.
