First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at 800 children who survived blood cancer to see if having a congenital heart defect increases their risk of death or other serious health problems later in life. Researchers also checked for shared genetic causes between heart disease and cancer. The goal is to better understand and manage long-term risks for these survivors.
