Could a simple blood test predict your next heart attack?
NCT ID NCT05175261
Summary
This study aimed to see if measuring a specific protein on blood platelets could help predict a person's risk of having another heart attack, stroke, or dying. Researchers followed about 800 people who had just survived a heart attack to see if their platelet test results were linked to future health problems. The goal was to gather information to potentially create a better risk score for doctors to use.
