Could a simple blood test predict your next heart attack?
NCT ID NCT05175261
Summary
This study aimed to see if measuring a specific protein on blood platelets could help predict a person's risk of having another heart attack, a stroke, or dying. It enrolled about 800 people in the U.S. who had just survived a heart attack. Researchers followed them for up to 18 months to see if their platelet test results were linked to future health problems.
