Doctors use High-Tech heart scans to predict patient outcomes

NCT ID NCT02792075

Summary

This study aims to see if detailed pictures taken inside heart arteries can help doctors better predict which patients might have future heart problems, like heart attacks or needing another procedure, after they receive a stent. Researchers will follow 4,000 patients with coronary artery disease who have these special imaging scans. The goal is to gather information to improve future care, not to test a new treatment.
