This study tested a hearing care program for older adults with dementia and hearing loss. Speech-language pathologists provided the care instead of audiologists. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce troubling symptoms like agitation and improve quality of life. 77 people took part, and researchers measured changes in mood and daily function.
