Summary
This study is testing whether a common allergy drug (clemastine) combined with specially designed sounds can help middle-aged adults hear better in noisy environments. Researchers believe this combination may help repair the brain's hearing pathways. About 344 participants aged 45-65 will try either the drug+sound, drug+white noise, placebo+sound, or placebo+white noise for one month to see which works best.
