Summary

This study evaluates a weight-loss program for children aged 2-18 with obesity in Denmark. The program involves diet changes, physical activity, and counseling for the whole family. Researchers will track changes in BMI and motivation to see if the program helps kids achieve a healthier weight.

Active substance
family-based weight-loss treatment program (diet, exercise, counseling)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide an effective model for helping children with obesity achieve a healthier weight and lifestyle.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so results may not prove cause and effect. Weight loss in children can be challenging and results vary widely.
