Summary
This study looks at whether chemicals from the 2023 train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, caused DNA damage in local residents. About 500 people who lived nearby at the time will give blood, spit, hair, or nail samples and answer a survey. The goal is to link where people lived to changes in their DNA, helping scientists understand the long-term health effects of the spill.
