Summary
This completed study looked at how veterans with HIV use the VA's online health portal, My HealtheVet (MHV). Researchers reviewed medical records and interviewed 123 veterans and their providers to understand how MHV helps manage HIV. The goal was to create and test a new intervention to encourage more veterans to use MHV for better self-care.
