Could a High-Tech headband clear the fog of chemo brain?

NCT ID NCT07173101

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 40 times

Summary

This study tests whether a headband with special semiconductors can help with memory and thinking problems (often called 'chemo brain') in people who have had breast or gynecologic cancer. About 50 participants will wear either the active headband or a placebo version for 18 hours a day for 3 weeks, then switch after a 2-week break. The main goal is to see if wearing the headband is practical and safe, and if it eases cognitive symptoms.
