NCT ID NCT06200480

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looked at whether follow-up calls from a headache nurse could help patients with migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches, or hemicrania continua stay on their preventive medication. 147 participants were randomly assigned to receive nurse calls at 2 and 6 weeks or to follow up with their regular doctor. The main goal was to see if more patients completed at least two months of treatment with nurse support.
