New headache injection study tests simpler treatment option
NCT ID NCT07347730
Summary
This study is comparing two different injection treatments for chronic headaches that start in the neck. Researchers want to see if a simpler injection into tight muscle knots (trigger points) works as well as a more complex nerve block injection. About 1,000 adults with chronic headaches will receive one of the two treatments and be followed for two years to measure pain relief and quality of life improvements.
