Needle vs. nerve: Head-to-Head battle for headache relief
NCT ID NCT07347730
Summary
This study aims to find out if a simple injection into tight muscle knots (trigger points) works as well as a more complex nerve block injection for treating chronic headaches that start in the neck. About 1,036 adults with these headaches will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two injections. Researchers will track their pain levels, headache frequency, and quality of life for two years to see which treatment provides better and longer-lasting relief.
